Britain ‘intolerant’ on child sex (04.09.77)

DR Edward Brongersma, the Dutch lawyer and member of parliament who was prevented by public protests from leading a seminar on paedophilia in London last week, says that he was shocked and dismayed by ‘the unbelievable intolerance of the British people.’
Dr Brongersma had accepted an invitation to address the first public meeting of the Paedophile Information Exchange: (PIE), an organisation which claims a member-ship of some 300 people who are sexually attracted to children, and numbers among its aims the abolition of the age of consent.
